Prepare the following materials:

Material:

  • 500 grams of mutton thigh meat, boiled 1/2 cooked, cut into pieces
  • 2 bay leaves, to boil the meat
  • 2 cm ginger, crushed, to boil the meat
  • 1,000 ml of water
  • 1,500 ml coconut milk from 11/2 coconut grains
  • 2 cm galangal, crushed
  • 1 lemongrass, crushed
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 100 grams of cabbage, cut into 2 cm
  • 1 red tomato, cut
  • 5 pieces of red bird's eye chilies
  • 3 tablespoons of Sweet Soy Sauce
  • 4 shallots, thinly sliced
  • 3 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 spring onions, cut 1 cm
  • 2 tablespoons of oil for sauteing


Smooth Seasoning (Puree by pulverizing / blending)

  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 8 shallots
  • 4 candlenuts, toasted
  • 3 cm turmeric, roasted
  • 2 cm ginger
  • 1 teaspoon coriander


How to Make a Jogja Goat Tongseng Recipe

Prepare a frying pan / Teflon, pour in the oil, turn on the fire, and heat it up.

  • Enter the onion, ground spices, lemongrass, galangal, red chili sauce, bay leaves, and shallots in it. Saute until it smells good.
  • Enter the goat meat that has been cleaned and cut into pieces. Stir with the stir-fry seasoning until the mutton changes color.
  • Pour in the sweet soy sauce and coconut milk, then stir until well blended with the mutton and other spices.
